Wallis' Wanderers
Story
3 years ago our fabulous Kelly Wallis was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma after finding a lump the size of a golf ball in her groin (insert appropriate genital area comment here). This began a 2 and a half year battle that resulted in a hysterectomy, a hip replacement, brain surgery, radiation, treament trials, and finally in her leaving us 18 days before her 40th birthday. However the one thing she had till the end was her ability to laugh at almost every situation, her huge heart and her fighting spirit.
This will be the 3rd time we will march, but the first time we will do it without her. But we know that what she wanted most in the world (aside from marriage equality and to be surrounded by cats) was to find a cure for this disease so that no one else needs to go through what she did. So please donate to the cause, and join us if you can.
Oh and don't forget the obligitory curse word as you hit the donate button. #fuckcancer
